The Malawi College of Accountancy (MCA) Campus Director for Blantyre, Dr. George Kaudza Masina, has challenged final-year students to dream big and believe that they can achieve their aspirations.
He made the remarks on Friday, August 14 evening during the Blantyre Campus Finale Dinner held at the Amaryllis Hotel.
“When you go out there, you should remember that you can get everything you aspire to achieve. Also remember that when one door does not open, you can always find another way and do better,” he said.
Dr. Masina further encouraged the students to pursue further education, highlighting MCA’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme as an opportunity they could utilise to advance their careers.
“After your degree journey, you should also consider professional studies such as ICAM and ACCA so that you can differentiate yourselves from the rest out there,” he said, while urging the students to remain good ambassadors of the institution.
In her remarks, Guest of Honour and entrepreneur, Della Kulemeka, shared her journey in entrepreneurship and encouraged the students to combine the knowledge they have gained through education with creativity and action.
“Education has given you knowledge, but you need to be creative to stand out on the ground. We need creativity and willingness to take action because all that you have learned without action is nothing,” she said.
Meanwhile, MCA Student Union President, Chantelle Chituta, hailed the institution’s management and students for making the finale dinner a memorable event. ?>
